In Israel, learning is suitable for all ages. It is customary to study here even after retirement. Moreover: many Israelis begin their studies at universities and colleges after reaching the age of 60-65, when they finally have free time that they can meaningfully and happily spend on themselves.
In the early 1990s, the symbol of the Aliyah was “a professor who sweeps the streets.” Today there is nothing like this and, in principle, cannot be! Firstly, because times have changed: thanks to the Internet, the whole world has become one global village. And secondly, because the New Aliyah is qualitatively different from all previous ones: the scientists and professors who came to Israel continue to advise graduate students and lecture online. Doctors and engineers - even at the age of 70 - successfully learn Hebrew along with 30-year-olds and start to work part-time in all sorts of Israeli companies. Almost no one today works part-time in cleaning companies, as the new immigrants did 30 years ago.
For those new immigrants who, after completing the Ulpan, want to continue mastering their Hebrew and learn as much as possible about the specifics of the Israeli labor market and the vacancies available there, leading teachers at UTime College have developed a unique training program. We called it “Profession Without Borders.” Because age in our country really does not play any role in admission to universities and jobs.
As part of our program you will learn:
Write your resume correctly
Master the skills of searching the Internet for vacancies in Hebrew
You will practice in Hebrew the terminology and communication features that correspond to your professional aspirations during an interview with a potential employer
Get the information you need about the communication codes accepted in Israel.
You will also get a unique opportunity to study in three languages – Hebrew, English and Russian.
The course includes organized excursions to the most picturesque corners of Israel.
During your studies, leading historians, economists, scientists, theater and film actors, artists, musicians, and journalists will meet with you.
As a result - first-hand! - you will get a complete understanding of Israel and will know in which areas and industries you can usefully apply your professional, intellectual and cultural potential and earn a decent income!
