UTime College: About Us
UTime College was founded by Yuri Levitan in 2009. Within the framework of the college, a network of ulpans has been created, in which Hebrew is taught in an unconventional and... funny way! Why is it fun to study? Apparently because positive emotions are the best cure for all ailments. Laughter saves us from ourselves. Including the process of learning Hebrew. Without speaking the language of the country in which you live, there is no way to build your career. And without a new, in-demand specialty, it is also sometimes impossible to make progress.
Today the college has more than 30 branches throughout the country - from Beersheba to Acre. We employ 237 teachers. And we have thousands of graduates. The vast majority of our former students masterfully integrated into Israeli life. Easily. With a smile. With faith in their professional future. Many have founded their own businesses, others successfully work in prestigious Israeli companies.
Ulpan is a microcosm. The concentration of personal problems, fears and uncertainty about the future is off the charts. Someone is tormented by nostalgia and dreams of returning home. Someone doesn’t speak Hebrew well: “I’m like a dog – I understand everything, but I can’t answer.” Someone has no one to take care of his child, and he misses classes. One missed lesson and you are set back several weeks!
During the learning process, we take into account all relevant factors. No one to take care of your child? So, we open the summer ulpan. For children! Kids learn Hebrew while playing.
Mom and Dad are stalling - no speaking practice? So, let's open the Hebrew Conversation Club! With the latest wave of Aliyah, brilliant lawyers, experienced notaries and judges arrived in the country - which means we are opening an ulpan of legal Hebrew. Former project managers find it difficult to get a job - which means we are looking for the best digital marketing experts in Israel and opening professional courses!
And what about doctors? In almost every ulpan group we have doctors and nurses. But how can you confirm your diploma and qualifications if it’s still difficult for you to understand what your potential patient is talking about?
Hence the medical ulpan. Non-standard! Because it's easy to study. And joyful! Surrounded by colleagues, you are more likely to believe in yourself. And - you will successfully pass the license confirmation exam.
For several years we have been conducting a professional course for dental doctors’ assistants. There is still a shortage of dental doctors’ assistants and private clinic secretaries in the country. This means that we will help our graduates get a job either in a specialized clinic of one of the health insurance funds, or in a private dental clinic.
There is also a shortage of accountants in Israel - just how many announcements are published by private and public companies on social networks. Meanwhile, with the latest wave of Aliyah, brilliant economists and financiers arrived in the country. Where should they start a professional career if Hebrew is still a problem? This is how a course for accountants and payroll clerks appeared at UTime College. Classes are taught by excellent specialists.
Currently, the college offers dozens of vocational training courses. All of them are certified and are carried out under the auspices of the Ministry of Labor and the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration. Graduates of our courses successfully work in almost all health insurance funds, in the high-tech industry, in government agencies and private companies. Professional training is also easy and joyful - using unique proprietary methods invented and tested by our teachers.
